Let’s kick things off by acknowledging the truth: the goal isn’t to be a calm mom; it’s to be a resilient mom. In our quest for resilience, we need to be aware of our mindsets and habits—those patterns that don’t serve us well and often bring anxiety, chaos, and dysregulation into our lives.

What we genuinely desire is peace, which underlies many of the other things we seek. Whether it’s having a clean house, more money, reducing anger, or gaining extra time and energy, it all boils down to wanting more peace.

Here are five powerful strategies to unlock more inner peace:

1. Stay in Your Lane

Stop meddling! There are three kinds of business: your business, other people’s business, and God’s business. So, stop interfering with other people’s business and God’s business and stay in your lane, girl!

2. Live in Alignment with Your Values (Without Guilt)

We all have values, and living in alignment with them is crucial for maintaining peace. Being out of integrity—failing to do what you said you would do or not keeping promises to yourself—can rob you of your peace.

3. Accept What Is (Release Attachment)

One of the biggest sources of misery in motherhood is our attachment to how things should be. Embrace reality, grow aware of your expectations, and release unmet ones.

4. Slow Down

In our fast-paced lives, slowing down can be challenging, but it’s essential for regulation and peace. Even just ten minutes of stillness can make a significant difference in your overall well-being.

5. Have/Do/Be (Inside Out Game)

To experience more peace, shift your mindset from “Have” or “Do” to “Be.” Be peaceful and allow like-minded energies to flow towards you. It’s a powerful strategy for experiencing peace.
