For years, my days looked like this:

I'd be making dinner — kids whining at my feet about who got to use the iPad first — when my phone would light up with an email that needed a response by morning.

And something inside me would just snap. I'd yell at one of my kids over what they were arguing about. Stand there with the dish towel in my hand, fully aware that my reaction was wildly disproportionate to whatever just happened.

I'd go to bed that night, tired but wired, and Google "burnout or depression?" Scroll through articles, half-considering whether I needed to schedule a doctor's appointment about this.

Then I'd close my phone, stare at the ceiling, and think: I've already tried everything. Mindset work. Supplements. The meditation app. Therapy. Why doesn't anything actually work?

And then one afternoon, my oldest looked up from her coloring and said, completely matter-of-fact, "Mommy, you're always mad."

That was the moment I realized this wasn't a time management problem.

This wasn't something I could think, plan, or supplement my way out of. The strategies that built my life were the same ones quietly burning me out.

And nothing I was doing was reaching the actual place the burnout lived: my body. My nervous system.

All day, you perform "I'm fine." To your team. To your partner. To your mother on the phone. To the other women at school pickup. And underneath the performance is a question you won't say out loud:

"Why can't I figure this out? I'm smart. I'm capable. I'm doing all the right things. Why does my life still feel like this?"

Focusing only on the top 20% is why you can know better and still not feel better.

Here, we train both.

Only 20% of how you think, feel, and respond is decided by your mind. The other 80% is decided by your body.

You've tried so many other things.

Mindset work gave you new beliefs.
But it didn't change the muscle tension, the gut issues, or the way your shoulders sit up by your ears.

You know the saying "you can't pour from an empty cup?" Years ago, I was running a busy law firm, raising toddlers, living that hustle-like-a-mother life, and trying to pour from a cup that was bone dry. Sound familiar?

I was the Queen of Busy - and looking back, I see that I ignored so many signs my body was sending me to slow down. I kept waiting for this challenging season to pass, so I kept doing what I did best - ignoring all the symptoms and pushing through. But that's not how the nervous system heals.

I dove deep into the nervous system, learning everything I could, and became certified as a nervous system fitness expert and master life coach. I learned how to expand my capacity, restore my energy, and really enjoy life again.
