“Go back to your values. What are the things that are important to you? For some people, maybe making a really good meal is important, but then the house is gonna have to wait. For other people, it’s like, “I’m going to play with the kids and we’re gonna like order takeout.” So, knowing what is important will help you prioritize those things. So, for myself, work is important and then spending time with my kids is important. So, my house looks like a little bit of a dumpster fire, and I feed my kids more Kraft dinner than I probably should. Will it always be like that? No. One day I’ll have a clean house, but for now, these are my priorities.” – Mama Psychologists
