It’s Thanksgiving week—one of the most stimulating times of the year for your nervous system.
The emotional load is higher, the invisible labor multiplies, sensory input spikes, and margin shrinks.
If you’ve felt yourself snapping, shutting down, or running on fumes, that’s not failure—it’s physiology.

Today, let’s talk about the three biggest energy leaks that drain high-capacity women this season—and the somatic interrupters that help you reclaim capacity in real time.
These aren’t character flaws or mindset gaps. They’re predictable autonomic responses.
Once you understand them, you can interrupt them with precision.


⭐ Energy Leak #1: Invisible Labor

Invisible labor is the cognitive and emotional work no one sees but you feel instantly.
You’re pre-planning menus, tracking dietary needs, managing personalities, and scanning every interaction to keep the peace.
Your brain is running predictive models, trying to solve problems before they happen.

  • Hypervigilance: Your nervous system stays in sympathetic activation, preparing for threat.
