Hope is like a muscle – if we want to strengthen it, we’ve got to train it. And it’s so much more than a wish or a want. Hope is an embodied confidence in God – even when things aren’t going our way. And because it’s a skill, we can teach our kids how to be hopeful.
In today’s episode you’ll learn why reminding our kids of the seasonal and cyclical nature of life is so important to cultivating hope. I also coach on how we can lovingly hold space for our children so they know they don’t have to face anything in life alone. And finally, we discuss how teaching them to question their thoughts can change the way they see the world and strengthen their hope.
